On Tuesday, December 5th Eric gave a presentation on the Jboard on computer programming. The timing was wonderful because this week is Coding Hour week. Our class will be coding in Media this Friday.
This is one of Eric's slides showing four different kinds of coding language. He also explained the numerous uses for coding in our everyday lives.
Eric's dad then gave a presentation on some of the work he is doing at M.I.T Mr. Buehler is a professor and researcher at M.I.T. He fascinated the class with some of the spiderweb simulations as part of developing cutting edge nanotechnology.

Students were given Thesauri today by the Rotary Club. Dr. Creeden, the former Superintendent of Schools, gave a presentation about all of the great work Rotarians are doing all over the world. 
Students started using their new writing tool to help improve word choice in their poetry.
